Bantam AAA go all out in PINK in honour of MOTHERS DAY!

Posted by Chilliwack Minor Baseball on May 17 2017 at 02:13PM PDT

Early Sunday morning the Bantam AAA team hit the field early to set up the field in pink in honour of their mothers. The boys along with coach Junior and dads worked hard to transform the field into a tribute that they had been secretly working on for weeks. Once they had the field lined in pink, the bases changed to pink and the batters box all set up they then worked on getting themselves ready. The boys each wore a custom Mothers Day pink jersey, pink shoe laces, pink eye black and a custom C pink hat. As the mothers all started to arrive for the game the surprise of the field tribute was touching but then they were all asked to join the team on the field and throw a pink stitched ball to each of their sons as the games first pitch. The day continued with a great double header with a surprise bbq in between. Following the game the mothers were again asked to join their boys on the field and were presented with the custom pink jerseys as a keep sake for the day along with a pink stitched ball signed by their own son. What a wonderful Mothers Day tribute put on by these fine young men, coach Junior and their supportive Fathers.
